DYNATEK, DYNA-S IGNITION MODULE. DUAL FIRE
Dyna-S ignition module for dual fire applications. Comes complete with rotor. Can be used for single or dual plugged heads. The required mechanical advance unit must be purchased separately. Note: Dyna coil recommendations: Dyna 5 Ohm for street use, Dyna 3 Ohm for race use. Note: It is recommended to use ignition modules & coils of the same manufacturer. Intermixing different brands may cause premature failure. Note: Difference between Single & Dual Fire: - Dual Fire - This is the way the earlier, pre-Twin Cam, engines work. A single coil is used and both spark plugs fire simultaneously. This is the simplest system. The 'wasted' spark is sometimes said to be horsepower robbing. - Single Fire - This is the way the stock 00-up Twin Cam engines work. Two separate coils will fire the spark plugs independently and only the spark plug of the cylinder that is on compression stroke will be fired. It is said that these engines vibrate less and can improve power. The effects will become more pronounced with hotter cams and higher RPM. Note: For the single fire Dyna-S ignition module see 902530.

The module is simply adjustable with switches, nothing else required. features include an intelligent overvoltage/overcurrent protection, a short circuit protection and an adjustable retard timing. But if you want more... it is fully programmable with the, optional available, programming kit (902528) and harness (902524). Another new feature is data recording. The module records a series of data and stores it. The recorded data can be downloaded with a PC to show engine builders how the engine was used (or abused), should there be a problem in the future. Offers PC programmable: * Eight point definable wide open throttle curve. * Eight point fully definable partial throttle curve. * Rev. limiter in 50 RPM steps. * Programmable dead cranking revs 0-10. * Programmable rear cylinder offset of +/- 10 degrees. Offers data recording: * Total engines hours run time. * Time at wide open throttle. * Longest time operating at wide open throttle. * Number of engine starts (2 minutes running counts as one). * Maximum RPM. * Seconds near rev limit. * Statistical analysis of time at RPM. Note: It is recommended to use ignition modules & coils of the same manufacturer. Intermixing different brands may cause premature failure. Coil must be within range of 2.5 to 3.5 ohms. Carbon, graphite or spiral core type suppression spark plug wires are required. Do not use copper core wires. Note: Dyna does not offer the ignition rotor. The OEM Harley rotor (OEM 32402-83) and mounting bolt (OEM 2611B) should be re-used or ordered separately as 920402 rotor & bolt kit. Note: Optional PC programming kit is available as 902528 (Incl. software, USB connections and operating instructions). The programming harness 902524 (Programming harness, Pigtail. Installs on bike, it is the link between ignition and the USB) is required to program the 2000i ignition module. Note: Not compatible with kickstart models.

ALTMANN. AMM-P3 IGNITION MODULE, SINGLE FIRE
Custom, no coil mounts. Compatible with stock crank sensor & coil. Three control knobs allow 4 settings for each range; maximum advance, advance curves and rev-limiter in 5750, 6000, 6250 and 6500 RPM. On stock motorcycles the ECU unit does not need to be removed, this way the ignition will work with the stock immobilizer and the ECU will only control the stock electronic speedo. On CAN-bus (HD-LAN) models the kill switch and tachometer (RPM) will not work. Will also work on fuel injected Evo models and 08-10 Buell XB (which have a crank sensors). Used on H-D engines to install an advanced, fully adjustable and dependable ignition system. Super simple to set-up, easier than a points ignition! For electric start models only. Fixed single fire and selectable single/dual plug. Selectable advance & RPM limiter. With 8 advance curves and 8 RPM limits, from 6000 up to 7500 RPM, it can be adjusted to fit your specific engine. Easy selection by a rotary switch on the ignition unit. Module comes with a built-in static timing light and feature a extended temperature and low voltage operation with soft-start circuitry for easy starting. Note: A tach adapter (MCS 538408) is required to correct tacho-output when using single fire ignition, for correct RPM representation.
