This manual primary chain adjuster kit is ideal for Big Inch and High Performance engines and is also a benefit when speed shifting at high RPMs. It is a direct replacement for the original equipment automatic tensioner on 2006-2017 Dyna, 2007-2017 Softail, 2007-2016 Touring and 2009-2016 Trike. The manual adjustment allows to lock the chain at a desired play to prevent for a change in tension during severe shifting. Kit comes complete with mounting hardware, primary gasket is not included. Note: This High Performance part is designed to lock the chain tension to prevent uncontrolled movement of chain and parts during severe shifting. It is most likely that more primary chain noise will be experienced.
